Limited Edition of 25 (first edition still available). Taken from the N.M.E. album review illustration of The Beatles’ complilation album Anthology 3 released in October 1996.
This unique and unusual illustration features in Run’s book End Of A Century and shows The Beatles as never before – Paul McCartney in portrait, but with a mass of tangled hair covering his face, the band as badges on his blazer. It uses a combination of collage and letratone and letraset.
Anthology 3 is a compilation album by the Beatles released by Apple Records as part of The Beatles Anthology series. The album includes rarities and alternative tracks from the final two years of the band’s career, ranging from the initial sessions for The Beatles (also known as The White Album) to the last sessions for Let It Be and Abbey Road in 1969 and early 1970.
